TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT!

What if “difficult” English is all in your head?🤯

Here’s how to hack your brain 🧠 to master English faster

If you’re looking for a faster way to master English, you should also think it!

Thinking in English is a powerful tool for mastering the language. It helps bridge the gap between passive understanding and active communication. Here’s why it’s so beneficial for language learners:

  • Improves Fluency: Thinking in English reduces translation time, allowing for smoother and more spontaneous conversations.

  • Enhances Vocabulary Retention: Regularly using words and phrases in your thoughts reinforces memory and understanding.

  • Boosts Confidence: Thinking in English prepares you for real-life situations, making you feel more comfortable speaking without hesitation.

Want a head-no pun intended!-start? Try to do these things:

  • Set a Timer: Choose a 10-minute block where you’ll commit to thinking only in English.

  • Describe Your Surroundings: Use complete sentences to mentally describe everything you see—colors, shapes, actions.

  • Create Scenarios: Imagine a conversation or situation you might encounter today, such as ordering coffee or chatting with a colleague. Plan your responses in English.

  • Reflect on Your Day: Before bedtime, spend a few minutes recalling your day in English, focusing on emotions and experiences.

And remember, you’re not alone in this journey! Join the EZ English Club to find learning companions and useful English language resources.

“Interest” is a homophone, or a word that can have different meanings. “A loan” and “alone” are homonyms, or words that sound alike but have different spellings.

TECH FACT ATTACK!

What is a tech stack?

So, let’s talk about the term "tech stack." It’s basically the combo of technologies—like software, frameworks, and programming languages—that developers use to build and run applications. Think of it as the secret sauce behind your favorite websites or apps!

Understanding tech slang like "tech stack" is super helpful if you’re diving into the tech world. It gives you insight into how things work behind the scenes.

Example Sentence:
“Our tech stack includes React, Node.js, and MongoDB.”

When dissected, this means their applications use the following:
- React: A popular JavaScript library that lets devs create reusable, self-managing, and self-updating components.
- Node.js: This is a runtime environment that enables devs to create apps using JavaScript.
- MongoDB: This is a database designed to store and retrieve data in a flexible format, perfect for high-performance projects.

If you want to use English to get into a programming job, these are just some of the tools you need to know!
